Primark | Velvet Matte Lipstick Crayon | Swatches and Review

Hey guys! So I was browsing in Primark the other day (probably looking for pyjamas as I normally do) and I came across this velvet matte lipstick crayon. They had two different shades from what I remember but this one completely stuck out to me and I thought it was beautiful. And then I noticed the price. This lipstick crayon is literally just £2. £2 for a whole velvet matte lipstick crayon. That is insane, so I thought I would give it a try and share with you what I think!

The shade that I picked up was the shade ‘Nude’ and I think the overall packaging of this product looks really elegant and pretty. You can see the shade of the crayon on the lid and the bottom of it which is handy so you don’t have to take lids off to see the shades.

I think the colour of this crayon is absolutely gorgeous. Its kinda of a salmon dusty pink (if that makes sense) and is true to its word when it says that it’s matte. Its easy to apply as you can line your lips with it first and then fill them in.

I don’t know if it’s long lasting as I haven’t tried it for a long period of time, so I guess this review is kind of a first impressions but the pigmentation of it is amazing – it’s so opaque.

I would recommend using a lip balm underneath this product as it is matte and for the time that I had it on, it did seem to make my lips a little dry, but that’s what you get with matte lipsticks!

Let me know what you think of this! Would you wear it? Also please like and follow if you liked it 🙂 ❤
